含有量（0.5％または 0.1％）とたんぱく質含有量（20％または10％）を要因とする二元配置分散分析（２×２）で計４群を設定した。飼料中 Ca の 0.5％含量およびたんぱく質の 20％含量が AIN-93G に準じた標準状態である。これらの条件で３～ 10 週齢（成長期）は５％脂肪食（標準）、11 週齢（成獣期）以降は 20％脂肪食の高エネルギー食を与え、19 週齢の終わりに解剖した。その結果、低 Ca ／低たんぱく質食はラットの体重増加を著しく抑制し、特に、除脂肪体重と大腿骨重量が低かった。低 Ca 食のラットは標準 Ca 食に比べて、空腹時血漿トリアシルグリセロール濃度が高かった。さらに肝臓重量も重く、肝脂質量も有意に高かった。以上の結果から、幼仔期から長期にわたる Ca
