市内各施設で行われた食育についての取り組みについて調査し、今後の課題と推進すべき方向を分析した。【対象・方法】平成19年2月、N市(人口約68,000人)にある幼稚園・保育所(障害児施設含)・児童センター・公民館・保健センター・小学校・中学校など計56ヶ所に依頼した(回答率 100%)。【結果・考察】食育事業実施施設は 87.7%。保育所・小学校・児童館は実施率 100%であった。最多事業は子供向け料理教室であった。一方、生活の自立につながる男性向け料理教室開催は4施設に留まった。延べ参加率は子供(15 歳未満)対象 87.8%、成人対象は14.8%であった。学校栄養士の事業関与時間割合は
