"本研究では、青森県及び岩手県が継続して実施している景観学習の実態を明らかにし、景観まちづくり教育の普及に向けた知見を得ることを目的としている。青森県及び岩手県へのインタビュー調査と景観学習実践校を対象としたアンケート調査を実施し、普及に向けた課題を考察した。両県が主導する景観学習では、小規模校からの応募が多く、まちづくりの専門家が出前授業を行う形式により学校側の人的・金銭的負担を軽減していた。実践校へのアンケート調査では「良い景観を守りたいという意識の芽生え」や「まちづくりの知識や関心の向上」において高い評価が得られていた。景観まちづくり教育を広く普及させる上で課題となる点を6つに整理した。①景観学習のPR方法と募集時期の見直し、②学校が独自に景観学習を継続する体制づくり、③学校と外部講師との協働によるプログラム内容の充実、④学年、校内における教師間の連携、⑤教員の地域理解及び学校と地域の連携体制、⑥学習実践報告書の作成と公開。",
